Marvel and DC Dont’ Have a Corner on Great Comic Heroes
When you think of comic books and superheroes, you generally think of Marvel and DC comics and heroes. Like Superman, Batman, Iron-Man, and Spider-Man.
A large part of that is the sheer popularity of these publishers, but also because of all the movies their superheroes have starred in.
These two companies dominate the comic book market, but did you know there are a lot of other publishing companies? They may not be as big as those two, but they have strong followings and relatable heroes.
You probably know who at least some of these heroes are, you just don’t realize they aren’t DC or Marvel.
Below is a list of the top 10 lesser-known heroes from comics that weren’t published by the big two. See how many you know.

Pitt is very similar to the Hulk with his super-human strength and the fact that he doesn’t look very hero like. He is a human-alien hybrid that was created to destroy humanity, but ended up fighting for humans, not against them.
Although he has appeared in DC comics, he is not a DC character. You probably have heard of this guy because there was a movie made about him back in 2008. While the movie wasn’t very good, the comics are awesome.
